Catastrophe.

she broke beautifully
like snowflakes falling
one
by
one
on cold winter mornings
and then melting
in the palm of your hand
as you catch them
she fell apart slowly
but surely
came undone the way
one unbuttons his lover’s
blouse
lovingly, but firmly
no room for argument
no room for hesitation
no room
at all
she fell apart in his hands
like one drops a vase
splinters
flying
everywhere
with no one to pick up the
pieces
oh, the pieces, in thousands
and no one to pick them up.

not a soul.

  1. And as each piece fell,
    Close but not close enough,
    Enough to get back again.
Again to put sense in the delicate snowflake,
To not be so fragile and grow some thorns.
    Because,
They do not deserve the snowflakes and butterflies,
    Because,
All they give is heartbreaks and web of lies.

    This was brilliantly written!

P.S This is my way to give a compliment.

You will see more of this is future 😉
